Based on the success of the program, the “Look Forward Give Back” campaign was launched.

Initiated in April 2019, LOHARANO is part of the Malagasy Government’s objectives to promote a return to basics and thus strengthen the link between young people in the diaspora and Madagascar through community projects, “charity begins at home”.
During the first edition, 9 volunteers from the Malagasy diaspora in France, the United States and Canada participated in the program to share their know-how and experiences for the benefit of local communities in three (3) municipalities.
The Malagasy State, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will implement the second edition of the Loharano Programme of Volunteering for Youth from the Malagasy Diaspora in 2020.
Support the efforts of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), which has allocated a fund of $70,000 for the implementation of the first edition.
