Information on Border Control Fees for Visas upon Arrival

From now on, for stays of 15 days or less, passengers to Madagascar no longer have to pay the visa fee. However, a fee of 10 € for border control formalities remains to be paid.
The payment of these fees does not concern the Embassy but the airport authorities. The Embassy cannot be held responsible for the reimbursement of these fees.

  • For a stay of 31 to 60 days: 25,00 €
  • For a stay of 61 to 90 days: 35,00 €
  • For a one-month visa that can be transformed into a long-term visa in Madagascar: 35,00 €
Is it possible to get a refund of the visa fees in case of rejection of a visa application file?
The visa fees, paid at the Embassy, cannot be refunded nor modified, whatever the reasons (rejection, withdrawal…).

The visa application file for multiple entries must be accompanied with a certificate of reservation or flight schedule, mentioning the existence of several trips towards Madagascar.
