The Government has announced that all Covid-19-related travel restrictions have been lifted for all travellers to Madagascar.
This decision takes effect as of Thursday 11 August 2022.
Back to normal
After nearly two years of enforcing sanitary measures at its borders, Madagascar has now joined the list of countries that have abandoned these restrictions. From now on, the presentation of a negative result of an Rt-PCR test upon boarding is no longer required. The same applies to antigen tests on arrival. The island welcomes all travellers, vaccinated or not, from all countries
Safe destination
After the awarding in October 2021 of the «SAFE TRAVELS» label by the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), tourist operators in Madagascar continue to apply the barrier measures in order to provide tourists with services that meet global health standards.
