Some members of the Embassy received the representative of the Hamburg-based company HOL’INTEC, Dr. Michael Mukengele for a presentation session on its technological product needed for stabilization, road construction or rapid repair of road holes. This ready-to-use, all-season, cold-applicable product improves the properties of asphalt-concrete, making it more efficient over time, flexible, scalable, storable at all times and at a lower cost.
In fact, with a small well-defined amount of product emulsion, the asphalt obtained by this technology makes it possible to pave a thin layer of 1 to 2 cm, at a speed of 1.6 km per day. After 30 minutes of implementation, the road is open to traffic.
This new technology is perfectly adapted to developing countries such as Madagascar. Its implementation is based on the government’s willingness to develop its country effectively and efficiently.
